Risk Management

Any Adult who participates in NC Youth Soccer must complete a Risk Management application that must be approved by the state of NC. Our volunteers are also required to complete an Abuse Prevention training for the safety of the children as well as our volunteers and parents. Upon completion and approval from the state of NC, the training information will be sent directly to the applicant by our Abuse Prevention Liaison.

 

This means:

  • coach (plus assistant or substitute coach)
  • staff coach
  • team manager
  • skills trainer
  • director of coaching (& associate director of coaching)
  • athletic trainer
  • program administrator
  • referee (& referee assistants or fourth official)
  • assessor
  • instructor
  • certified referee assignor
  • ODP/State Select coaches and administrators, and
  • Association officer employed, serving as a volunteer of, or serving as an independent contractor.
