SoccerPlex Winter Soccer 2014-15

SSYSA will have a trailer in the Walnut Cove Parade, Dec 13th.
If any of our kids want to ride please plan on meeting at Food Lion parking lot no later than 1:30.
Dress warm (wear your Christmas hat, scarf, gloves) if your jersey will fit over your coat.

	Awards Day Fall 2014:
	Mark your calendars for the Fall'14 Awards day and Cookout.
	Saturday November 15th @ Noon Brookcove fields

SSYSA will provide hotdogs w/fixings & chips.

We are asking each team to bring the following items:

U6 teams :  side dishes -( casseroles, salad, veggies, macaroni, potatoes/finger foods, etc) - please bring serving utensils

U8 teams:   desserts - (cookies, cupcakes, brownies, cake, pie, fruit tray, pudding, etc) please bring serving utensils

U11 teams:  side dishes - (pasta, rice, slaw, dips, cheese tray, bean salad, deviled eggs, etc).- please bring serving utensils

U12 team: cold drinks - (water, soda, juice boxes, barrels, capri sun, etc)

U14 teams:  cold drinks - (water, soda, juice boxes, barrels, capri sun, etc)

This is a fun time for everyone, so please join us!

Please bring (labeled with name) serving utensils for your dish.

All PLAYERS and PARENTS are welcome. 

Don't forget a chair and canopy for the sun. Dress warm, high temps are forcasted as only high 47 degrees! brrrrr.....

Optional kids and Adult (big kids!) game to follow awards if enough participants remain!

2015 SSYSA Board Elections
The Southeastern Stokes Youth Soccer Association needs officers who want SSYSA to be the best soccer league in Stokes County and who realizes the importance of child(ren) learning soccer skills in a fun environment.

Executive Board Positions are for: President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer (all starting in Jan 2015).

Please take a few minutes to consider the coaches and/or parents you have spent the past season(s) interacting with.

Consider:
• Have they expressed good ideas about the SSYSA league?
• Do they show a love and appreciation for the game of soccer and for the league's players?
• Do you think they would be good leaders for the league and serve as good role models for our players?

The SSYSA Board will develop a "board approved" list of nominees and will contact those nominated parties to determine if they accept the nomination, prior to the actual voting process. Thanks for your input!

As always Parents, Grandparents, Guardians are welcome and encouraged to join us at our monthly Board Meetings. You do not need to be an Executive Board or Board member to attend (although welcome to join board!).
