Introducing a new skills camp for 3 and 4 year olds!!
That's Right!!! SSYSA is running a skills camp for girls
and boys, ages 3 and 4, this spring. The camp is designed
to introduce the game of soccer and promote good sportsmanship,
beginning soccer skills and fun. The Skils Camp will
be held on each Saturday in March (a total of 4 sessions)
at 12:30pm on the Brook Cove Soccer Fields lasting no
more than an hour.
Upon completion of the 4 sessions,
the participants will receive a Trophy/Medal and a water
bottle. Registration cost for the camp is only $10.00
and you can get a registration form by Clicking
Here. So, let's get the kids outside, learning and
playing the fastest growing youth sport in America....Soccer.
By the way parents, each session would be a great time
to bring the camera. You can never get TOO Many pictures.
Coming in April
Tournament play for U6 and U8 teams!!!
This spring season, SSYSA is hosting
tournaments for both the U6 and U8 SSYSA divisions.
Each team will play 3 games total and following the
North Carolina Youth Soccer Association's guidelines,
there will be no official winner because Each Team is
a Winner.
The games are schedule looks like this:
Friday, April 7th, at 6:00pm
the first game for all teams are played. Following the
tournament play, SSYSA is having a Pinto Supper fundraising
event with Live Music and Auction
Saturday, April 8th, at 10:00am,
Tournament play resumes with each team playing their
second game. There will be atleast a 30 minute break
before the last game starts at 11:15am. After the last
game is played, medals will be awarded to all the players
on each team.
The tournament game playing times are shortened,
with the U6 quarters being only 5 minutes long and the
U8 quarters being 8 minutes long, so the players are
not too tired playing 2 games on Saturday. The 2 day
event plans to be both fun and exciting for both the
players and the fans. So come on out and support your
favorite teams.
Following the tournament there will be a pinto supper
with Live Band~
there will also be a blanket auction.
Come have some fun!
