June 28th, 2003....is the last day to sign up for the Fall season!

SSYSA REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

  Deadline for Spring 2003 registration is June 28th.
  There will be NO EXCEPTIONS and NO REFUNDS!!  Any player�s registration received after this date will be put on a waiting list.  It is imperative that we adhere to this date for several reasons, including scheduling and uniform ordering.

Please do not request specific coaches for your child.  Our league is besieged each year with requests for specific coaches.  We normally attempt to keep intact teams together as much as possible, especially going from Fall to Spring.  If you have a family situation that warrants two or more of your children playing on the same team, you MUST include this information in BOLD WRITING on your registration.

The following guidelines determine which age group your child will be placed in for play this Fall:

 Any child who is already FOUR but who has not turned SIX by August 1 will be in the U6 age bracket.

 Any child who has already turned SIX but who has not turned EIGHT by August 1 will be in the U8 age bracket.

Any child who has already turned EIGHT but who has not turned TEN by August 1 will be in the U10 age bracket.

 Any child who has already turned TEN but who has not turned TWELVE by August 1 will be in the U12 age bracket.  In this age bracket, we usually split the girls and boys into their own teams, depending on how many player we have signed up.

 For older players, we have to wait to see how many we have before determining what age level they will be playing in.  Currently, only U6 through U10 play games in Walnut Cove.  Older teams play games in Winston-Salem.

 For siblings that need to be placed on the same team, remember, players cannot play in a younger age group.  If children need to be placed together, the older one�s age will determine which age group they play in. 

 The SSYSA discourages playing in older age groups unless recommended by a coach.
