The Second Annual
Stokes Soccerfest 2002

What is Stokes Soccerfest 2002?

It is our trophy presentation, fundraiser dinner, and soccer tournament, all rolled into one big 2-week event!

We are trying something different this year. Instead of our normal hot dog cookout end of seson celebration, we have decided to combine the trophy presentation with our BBQ fundraiser. This is also the kick-off for our soccer tournament the following weekend. We have rolled all of this into one big even we are calling "Stokes Soccerfest 2002".

The trophy presentation for all of our teams will be:

4:30 until 6:00 on
Saturday, October 26 .....at the
Southeastern Middle School
Walnut Cove.

The BBQ fundraiser dinner/dance begins after that at 6:00pm. The tickets, ticket logs, and instructions are included with the newsletter (handed out by each coach).

Please try to sell as many tickets as possible. THis is a great opportunity for us to raise some serious funds to imporve the conditions of our playing fields at Brook Cove. We think this combination celebration / fundraiser will be a financial success as well as a lot of fun for our players and their families.

Soccer Tournament
The following weekend,
Nov 1-3
, will be the
soccer tournament
at
Brook Cove Soccer Fields
.

For those of you that played last year, you know how much fun it was! We are anticipating an even bigger, better event this year. All coaches should have received information regarding tournament registration by now (if not, contact Mary Lou at 591-3222). We will once again be serving hot dogs and hamburgers from our concession stand. This year, we will also be having Soccerfest shirts for sale as well.

Enjoy the rest of the soccer season!
