Are encouraged to come tryout for our travel teams.
(Girls --ages11 & under --may also tryout for the U12 Boys team !!!)

- Wear a jersey with a number on it. Any color old team soccer jersey will work.

- Drink of some kind.
Challenge soccer is the second level of competition within NCYSA, between Classic and Recreation.
Classic soccer is the third level of competition within NCYSA, after the Challenge level.
The SSYSA Challenge/Classic program is a competitive soccer program.
Players compete against challenge/classic teams in the Triad Challenge League, generally within a hour driving radius from Brookcove during their regular season.
The challenge/classic season culminates with the NCYSA Challenge State Cup.

COMMITMENT LEVEL
Our challenge/classic players and coaches demonstrate a high level of commitment to excellence in skills, fitness, work ethic, attitude and sportsmanship.
FEES/COST- registration fees SAME AS RECREATION!
Fall/Spring Seasons: $85 per season
One season only: $55 per season
One-time/replacement uniform fee: $30
Referee fees: per game divided by both teams
Tournament fees: based on number and cost of tournament
COACHES-LEVEL
Coaches: 100% Volunteers
GAMES:
All challenge home games are played at Brookcove fields. 1000 Middlebrook Road.
U13 Classic will move up a field size and will play home games (beginning in the Fall) at Southeastern Stokes Middle School. 1044 N Main St, Walnut Cove, NC 27052
Away games for Spring'14 U12 Pride were played at Gibsonville, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and Lake Norman.
REGISTRATION:
All Challenge and Classic players
must try out annually each May for the following
Fall AND Spring seasons.
SPECIAL REQUESTS:
No Special requests.
